These chinoiserie lamps were very popular in the mid century, most surviving lamps have a brown top and bottom but this is one of the few that have a brilliant red cap and bottom. This lamp is ceramic with thick floral detail with no cracks or breaks in the design. There is a tiny ding in the wood base as shown in detail in the photos.
